We are thrilled to announce that in 2017 this much-loved annual celebration of food, wine and opera will be staged for the very first time at the luxurious Chateau Elan.
 
To celebrate our new home, we are proud to present two of our best and most-loved opera stars, international soprano Cheryl Barker and popular baritone Teddy Tahu Rhodes, who will excite and delight you with their breathtaking voices and charismatic stage presence. Joining them will be gifted international flautist Jane Rutter, whose lyrical performances on the classical French flute will enchant and inspire you. We also welcome back Maestro Guy Noble from ABC Classic FM, who will conduct the proceedings and accompany the artists on piano, supported by the rich tones of a string section.

Unbelievable news from the iconic Australian band, Midnight Oil. The legendary rockers and agitators are preparing their first world tour in over two decades and will be performing an unmissable show amongst the vineyards of the majestic Hunter Valley.

Midnight Oil is more than just a rock ‘n’ roll band. In 2017 they will finally bring things back to where they all began. The circle remains unbroken.

Get ready to return to the 80s in November 2017!  Abstract Entertainment and Hope Estate is proud to announce five of the biggest 80s International music acts Paul Young, Go West, The Cutting Crew, Wang Chung and Taylor Dayne will be joined by Australia’s own John Paul Young and the Allstars, Pseudo Echo and The Chantoozies for an unforgettable 80s Fest in the Hunter Valley on Saturday, 4th November.

The incredible lineup features some of the best artists of the era!

Superstar singer-songwriter STEVIE NICKS will return to Australia for an exclusive run of her 24 Karat Gold shows this November, with a day on the green at Bimbadgen on Saturday November 11.

Joining Stevie for these special concerts are the legendary PRETENDERS, fronted by Chrissie Hynde.

Fans will be treated to full, individual sets by STEVIE NICKS and PRETENDERS, who will both be performing their classic hits and much much more.

As a solo artist and a Fleetwood Mac member, STEVIE NICKS has sold more than 140 million albums and won several Grammys.
Suitably for an event celebrating two iconic female trailblazers, the bill will also feature Ali Barter, who The Huffington Post called “a bold, brash, ball-tearing feminist rocket”.

One of the world’s biggest rock acts +LIVE+ have reunited and are heading to the Hunter Valley’s iconic Roche Estate.

The original line-up of +LIVE+ - Ed Kowalczyk (vocals, guitar), Chad Taylor (guitar, backing vocals), Patrick Dahlheimer (bass) and Chad Gracey (drums, percussion) recently reunited for this worldwide tour, bringing their explosive live show to Australia for the first time in over a decade with special guests, Lifehouse and The Calling.

With their seminal album ‘Throwing Copper’, +LIVE+ cemented themselves as one of the most popular bands of all time in Australia. TEG DAINTY and Live Nation in association with Moonshadow Aus Pty announced that British singer-songwriting legend and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, Yusuf / Cat Stevens will tour Australia in November and December. A Cat’s Attic “Peace Train Tour” commemorates the 50th Anniversary of his first major hit single and debut album Matthew & Son released in 1967. This 50th Anniversary Tour is going to be an unmissable night for fans.

Get ready for a massive day of Blues music across multiple stages with Crossroads Blues in the Vines, boasting an incredible line up featuring Seven times Grammy award winner Buddy Guy (USA), Ian Moss, Diesel, Russell Morris and a swag of international and national superstar Blues acts.

Prepare for iconic indie rock anthems in the great outdoors when THE LIVING END, SPIDERBAIT, VERUCA SALT, THE LEMONHEADS, TUMBLEWEED and THE FAUVES combine for an almighty a day on the green national tour kicking off at Bimbadgen, Saturday February 24.

 

It’s a bill bursting with bands who were part of the alternative heyday of the 1990s, a period that has left a remarkable legacy on Australian music fans and continues to be held with muchos affection.

 

Between them, these six bands have notched up eight ARIA Awards, received more than 30 ARIA Award nominations, had 12 Top 10 albums and 19 Top 40 hit singles. They’ve played just about every major music festival in the world and worked with a wide range of collaborators – everyone from Kylie Minogue to The Wiggles!

 

In the live arena their reputations were made through performances marked by energy, passion and verve – qualities that will once again be on display during this tour.

British singer-songwriter James Blunt has announced a national tour, with a stop in the Hunter Valley.

He'll perform his first Australian show at Bimbadgen on Saturday March 10 as part of A Day On the Green.

Blunt will be joined on stage by Pete Murray, Busby Marou, Alex Lloyd and Karise Eden.

Country Music is returning to the Hunter on Saturday March 24 2018 with Crossroads Country in the Vines, featuring the biggest names in Country including the legendary Billy Ray Cyrus (USA), Lee Kernaghan, Kasey Chambers, John Williamson, The McClymonts and many more.
